How to schedule a client gallery

Scheduling is perfect when you want to finish a gallery today but release it to your client later — at a time they’re most likely to open email, or when you’re batch-working a bunch of galleries.

Here’s how to do it.

1. Open the gallery

You can open a gallery from Galleries in the top nav or from within the booking (there’s a “Client gallery” area on the right side of the booking).

2. Click Schedule

At the top-left of the gallery, where the publish toggle lives, click Schedule (under the “Unpublished” status in your screenshot).

3. Set date & time

In the Schedule panel:

  • Pick your publish date
  • Pick your time (great for sending at 5pm when people actually check email)

When that time comes, Session will automatically publish the gallery for you.

4. (Optional) Email your client automatically

There’s a toggle for Email client after publishing — leave this on if you want Session to send your gallery invite the moment it goes live.

You can customize:

  • Email subject
  • Message (add your voice, instructions, or upsell text)

Session will automatically append the important details for you (client code, gallery password if you set one, number of downloads, etc.), so you don’t have to.

5. Save it

Click Schedule and you’re set. The gallery will sit there unpublished until your chosen date/time, then it will publish and optionally email your client.
