You can absolutely control the order your client sees photos in, we just do it a little differently than classic drag-and-drop. Because Session keeps your images nice and large, dragging can get clunky—so we give you two tidy ways to reorder.
1) Use the built-in sort options
At the top of the Photos view you’ll see Shuffle (the sort menu).
You can choose:
- Shuffle – random order
- Original upload order
- Filename: A–Z
- Filename: Z–A
This is the fastest way to get everything into a sensible order.
2) Manually feature photos with “Move to top”
If you want a custom hero row at the top:
- Open the gallery.
- Click the photos in the order you want them to appear (you’ll see little numbers on them: 1, 2, 3…).
- Click Actions → Move to top.
Session will stack them at the top in the exact order you selected. This is perfect for putting your best 3–6 images first without rearranging the whole gallery. 🎯
Why no drag & drop?
We keep images large and airy so the gallery looks good and is easy to browse. That layout doesn’t play nicely with drag-and-drop, so we give you ordering tools that still feel fast and intentional.
