Keeping your collections in the right order makes the gallery way easier for clients to browse — especially for weddings (Getting ready → Ceremony → Reception) or brand shoots (Looks → Products → Team).
Here’s how to reorder them in Session:
1. Open the gallery
- Go to Galleries at the top, or open the gallery from inside the booking.
2. Open the collections panel
- On the right side of the gallery you’ll see the little collection navigator (the stacked dots/sections).
- Click it to Manage collections.
3. Reorder your collections
- In Manage collections, arrange the collections in the order you want (top = shows first in the gallery).
- Save/close — your gallery will now show collections in that order.
- Any photos that aren’t in a collection will still appear at the bottom under Unassigned photos.
Tips
- Use this to keep important sections first (e.g. “Highlights” or “Sneak peek” at the top).
- You can also rename or add new collections from the same area.
