Watermarking in Session is flexible: you can set one watermark for all galleries, and still turn it off (or on) for a single gallery when you need to.
1. Set your watermark globally
- Go to Manage > Gallery settings.
- Under Watermark, click Change watermark.
- Upload your watermark image (typically a transparent PNG).
- Use the preview to:
- Choose placement (center, corners, etc.),
- Scale it bigger/smaller,
- Adjust opacity so it’s visible but not distracting.
- Click Save.
This becomes your default watermark for any new photos you upload to galleries.
2. Turn watermark on/off for a specific gallery
Sometimes you want most galleries watermarked, but not this one (or the other way around).
- Open the gallery.
- In the left panel, click Watermark ON (or Watermark OFF).
- Toggle the switch at the top to enable or disable the watermark for that gallery.
- Done ✅ — new photos uploaded to this gallery will follow that setting.
Note: No matter what you pick, Session always gives your client the original, non-watermarked file on download.
3. A few tips
- Upload a high-quality PNG with transparency for best results.
- Keep opacity a bit lower if your work is light/airy so the watermark doesn’t overpower it.
- You can always go back to Manage > Gallery settings to update the watermark for future uploads.
