How to add questionnaires to your sessions

Summary:
You can attach questionnaires to your sessions so clients give you the information you need at the right time. Each session can have up to two questionnaires: one at booking and one after booking.

Types of questionnaires you can add

  • Booking questionnaire
    Shown during checkout. Use this for things you must know before the client books.
  • Post-booking questionnaire
    Shown after the client books. Use this for details you need closer to the session date.

How to add a questionnaire to a session

  1. Create or edit a session in Session.
  2. On the session edit screen, scroll down to the Questionnaire section.
  3. Click Add questionnaire.
  4. Choose the questionnaire you want to use.
  5. Click Save.

How to add a post-booking questionnaire

  1. On the same session edit screen, scroll down to Post-booking questionnaire.
  2. Click Add questionnaire.
  3. Choose the questionnaire you want clients to see after booking.
  4. Click Save.

Notes

  • Session already collects name, email, phone, and address (optional) during booking, so you do not need to ask for those again.
  • Keep booking questionnaires short so clients can check out quickly.
  • Use post booking questionnaires for weddings, events, or detailed sessions.
