How to add a contract to a session type

Summary:
Session types are the services you offer over and over, such as portraits, seniors, newborns, or weddings. You can attach contracts to a session type so that every time a client books that service, they are asked to sign. This keeps your terms consistent across all bookings for that service. You can add up to two contracts.

Before you start

  • You have already created your contract in Manage → Contracts.
  • You know which contract you want to attach to this session type.

Steps

  1. Go to Manage → Session types.
  2. Click the session type you want to edit.
    If you are creating a new one, click New session type.
  3. Scroll down to the Contracts section.
  4. Click Add contract.
  5. Select the contract you want to attach.
  6. Click Save.

If you need a second contract (e.g., Model release), you can add it under Additional contract in the below section.

What this does

  • Every time a client books that session type, the contract will appear in the booking flow.
  • The client will sign before completing the booking.
  • The signed contract will be stored on the booking.

When to use two contracts

  • One for general studio or business terms
  • One for location, model release, or photo usage
  • One for weddings and one for add-ons
