Summary:
If you prefer that clients reach out first instead of self booking, Session lets you accept inquiries. You review the details, pick the date and time that works, and then send the client an email to complete their booking.
Where inquiries show up
- When someone submits an inquiry, you’ll see an alert in the top right of the header.
- Click the alert to open the list of all your inquiries.
- Click the inquiry you want to review.
Review the inquiry
In the inquiry window you’ll see:
- The client’s name, email, and phone
- The date the inquiry was submitted
- Session type (you can change it if needed)
- Session date and start time
If the client’s suggested time does not work for you, you can change the date and time before confirming.
Tip: Use the Golden hour tool right inside the inquiry window to pick the best time for that date.
Confirm and send to client
- Make sure the session type, date, and start time look good.
- Add an optional message to client (nice for notes, locations, or what to expect).
- Click Confirm inquiry, and email client.
Session will create the session and send the client an email with instructions on how to complete their booking (sign contract, fill out questionnaire, payment, etc.).
Need to talk to them first?
- Click the client’s email at the top to write them.
- Or call them using the phone number they submitted.
This is helpful if you need to confirm a location or suggest a different time.
