How to create session packages

Summary:
Session lets you decide whether each session will offer one package or multiple packages. This way, you can keep simple sessions simple, and give clients choices when it makes sense.

Where to create packages

Create a new session (mini or session type) or edit an existing one.
Scroll to Packages & fees.
Click + Add packages and fees.

This is where you set how you get paid, how you deliver galleries, and what the client can choose during booking.

Choose how to collect your session fees

At the top, pick how you want to charge for this session:

Collect entire fee during booking – client pays everything at the time of booking.
Collect a retainer during booking – client pays part now, the rest later; Session sends a reminder before the due date.
Collect fee outside of Session – client books without paying; you’ll mark it paid manually.

Choose one package style

You must pick either:

Single package
- Good for minis or standard portrait sessions.
- Everyone books the same thing at the same price.

Multiple packages
- Good for full sessions, branding, or weddings.
- Clients choose the package they want during booking.
- Each package can have its own price, duration, and deliverables.

Setting up packages

If you choose Single package:

Set the total session fee
Add deliverables
Choose your gallery delivery mode
Set your upselling

If you choose Multiple packages:
For each package you can set:

Package title (e.g. “Gold,” “Premium,” “Mini + Prints”)
Package fee
Session duration (if packages change the shoot length)
Package description/deliverables
Gallery deliverables (how many photos they get)

Clients will see all packages and select one during booking.

Choose your gallery delivery mode

Session has built in gallery workflows, so choose how you want to deliver:

Final edits – upload finished photos; client downloads.
Soft proofing – upload proofs; client chooses favorites; you deliver finals.

You set this per session.

Optional: Upsells

You can let clients buy extra digitals or the full gallery for a flat fee or % discount right from their gallery.

Save

When everything looks right, click Save. Your client will now see that session with either the single package or the list of packages you created.
