Full sessions in Session can use the same built in gallery delivery that minis use. The difference is that full sessions often have bigger packages, more variety, and sometimes soft proofing. You can still tell Session how many photos are included, and you can still turn on upselling so clients pay for extra digitals before download. No chasing, no custom invoices.
Where to set this up
- Create or edit a session type (your full session service such as portraits, newborn, branding, weddings).
- Scroll to Packages & fees.
- Open the package you want to edit.
This is where you control payment and gallery delivery for that session type.
Choose your delivery mode
For full sessions you can pick what fits your workflow.
- Final edits
You upload the finished gallery. Clients can download what is included and buy more if you allow it. - Soft proofing
You upload proofs. Clients select their favorites. You deliver the finals after that. This is great for portrait and newborn sessions where clients want to choose.
Session has dedicated workflows for both.
Set what is included
Inside each package, set the number of photos that are part of that package.
For example:
- Classic Portrait: 20 images
- Deluxe Portrait: 35 images
- Branding Day: 50 images
This lets Session compare what the client wants to download with what is actually included.
Turn on upselling
This is where it gets good.
When upselling is on:
- If a client selects or tries to download more than their package allows, Session will ask them to pay for the extra digitals first.
- Payment happens right there.
- You do not have to send a separate invoice.
