How to add a gallery to a full session booking

Because galleries live right inside Session, you can create one straight from the booking — no separate app, no extra link, no re-typing client info.

1. Open the booking

Go to the booking (from Sessions, or Calendar) and open the client’s booking details.

You’ll see a Client gallery panel on the right.

2. Click Create gallery

Right from the booking, click Create gallery from the sidebar. Session instantly:

  • creates a new gallery for this specific booking
  • connects it to the client (name + email)
  • pulls in any gallery deliverables / upsell rules you set on the session

So it’s ready to go the second it opens ✨

3. Upload and customize

In the gallery editor:

  1. Add photos
  2. Reorder / shuffle
  3. Set a cover photo
  4. (Optional) Add a password for extra security

Because it came from a booking, the gallery already knows what the client is supposed to get.

4. Upselling works automatically (if enabled)

If your session/package has upselling on, Session will stop the client from downloading more than what’s included until they pay for the extras — or they can buy the whole gallery if you offered that. Easy breezy, low key salesy.

5. Publish and share

When ready:

  • toggle Published on
  • click Share gallery to email from Session or copy the link

Clients use the client code to favorite and download.
