How to move a client to a different spot

Sometimes a client needs a new time, or you want to spread bookings across minis. Session lets you move a booking to any other available spot, even on a different mini or date.

Move a booking

  1. Go to Sessions and open the mini session.
  2. Click the booked spot for the client you want to move.
  3. In the booking details window, click Actions.
  4. Select Move booking.
  5. In Session, choose where you want to move them:
    • the same mini session (a different time)
    • a different mini session date
    • a completely different mini
  6. In Choose an available spot, select the time you want.
  7. Click Move booking.

Session will send an email to the client about the change. It is still a good idea to message them directly in case they miss the email.

Notes

  • You can only move a client to an available spot.
  • Payments, contracts, and questionnaires stay with the booking.
  • If you are moving them to a different mini, make sure the new mini has the right contract and questionnaire.
