How to make a spot premium

Premium spots let you charge more for time slots that are in higher demand, like golden hour, weekend times, or the first spot of the day. You can set these right from the mini session overview.

When to use premium spots

  • Sunset or golden hour
  • Limited indoor/studio time
  • Holiday minis where the early spots go first
  • When you want to reward early booking with better options

Clients will see that the spot costs more than the standard time slots.

How to make a spot premium

  1. Go to Sessions and open the mini session.
  2. On the mini overview page you will see your list of time slots for that mini.
  3. Click the time slot you want to make premium.
  4. Choose Make premium (or edit the fee, depending on your view).
  5. Set the additional fee for that spot.
  6. Save.

That spot will now show as Premium on the mini overview.

You can do this before or after publishing, but most people like to set premium spots before the mini goes live.

What clients see

When clients open your mini to book, the premium time will display with the higher price so they know that time costs more.

Tips

  • Use premium for golden hour and you will sell that spot first.
  • You can still reserve a premium spot for a VIP.
  • Combine premium spots with the waitlist so you can fill them fast if someone drops.
