How to set your currency, sales tax, tipping, and remaining balance due

You can control all of your global payment settings in one place.

1. Go to your payment settings

  1. In Session, go to Manage > Payments.
  2. Scroll to Payment settings (or click Edit).

2. Set your currency

In Your currency, pick the currency you charge in. Session currently supports:

  • USD
  • CAD
  • EUR
  • GBP
  • AUD
  • MXN
  • NZD
  • ZAR
  • NOK
  • DKK
  • SEK
  • CHF
  • GTQ
  • HKD

This becomes your default for bookings.

3. Add sales tax (optional)

  • Under Sales tax, enter your Tax % (e.g. 9).
  • Enter your Tax region (e.g. TX).
  • This applies tax per session.

4. Enable tipping (optional)

  • Toggle Tipping ON to let clients leave a percentage or custom tip at checkout.

5. Choose when the remaining balance is due

  • Under Remaining balance due, pick how many days before the session the balance must be paid.
  • You can override this for specific session types if some need more time.
